How do you remove google chrome from centos 7 due to blockage of plugins?

Hi,

I joined this forum because it runs discourse,I love the software :smile:

maybe this is not the right forum as it is too general.

however if anyone have any idea how to install google chrome 100% functional on centos 7.x on desktop let me know.

this is the first time I am using centos (from ubuntu apt-get family) and still unfamiliar with SELinux

I’m not using Centos too but I think you will be able to run chrome without any problems if you turn off the SELinux.

If you don’t want to disable SELinux completely, it is also possible to just turn off SELinux controls on the Chrome plugins like below:

$ sudo setsebool -P unconfined_chrome_sandbox_transition 0
